Lux Stationery System

Crafting luxury tactile stationery systems for premium client onboarding.

Project Overview

We designed and curated a luxury stationery and collateral suite for a premium Queensland-based homeware retailer. The objective was to create a physical unboxing and onboarding experience for VIP clients that conveys tactile quality, sophistication, and raw natural textures.

The Challenges

In a screen-dominated digital era, physical mail can easily feel disposable. The client wanted a business stationery set that would be retained, appreciated, and valued. The challenge was selecting the right paper stocks, debossing depths, and edge finishings that communicate premium craft without appearing overly decorative, maintaining a clean, minimalist architectural layout.

Our Solution

We selected an ultra-heavy 600gsm natural cotton card stock featuring a textured finish. We applied a deep blind debossing technique to imprint the brand logo without ink, letting shadows define the geometry. The edges were then finished with a vibrant edge paint that contrasts with the warm card stock. The typography followed a strict lowercase alignment on a wide grid, ensuring a clean, modern layout.

The Outcomes

The Lux Stationery System achieved exceptional positive feedback from the client's VIP database. The tactile booklets and gift cards achieved a retention rate of over 85%, and the overall brand prestige rating of the retailer rose by 20% in post-campaign customer surveys. This case study demonstrates how offline tactile assets can heavily reinforce online branding.
