Interior & Spatial

Integrating materials, spatial flow, and ambient lighting for physical offices.

1. Spatial Extension of Visual Identity

Architectural interior design is the extension of a brand's identity into the physical world. We choose materials with natural honesty—including concrete surfaces, matte black steel grids, and natural oak wood. This material consistency ensures the physical space projects the same premium, minimalist values as the brand's digital portfolios and corporate guidelines.

2. Material Integrity & Tactile Honesty

We reject synthetic imitations and focus on authentic materials. Raw concrete, cold structural steel, and warm timber have their own visual weight and tactile characteristics. By positioning a polished steel desk against a raw concrete pillar, we create contrast and architectural tension. This material honesty creates spaces that feel solid, permanent, and serious. The tactile experience of touching a solid timber door handle communicates quality before a client sits down.

3. Acoustic Control & Felt Panel Curation

Open-plan creative workspaces look beautiful but can suffer from noise echoes. Rigid concrete ceilings and glass walls bounce sound waves, causing employee distraction. We solve acoustic issues by mounting custom-designed, modular felt acoustic panels made of compressed warm-grey wool. This creates beautiful texture while absorbing echoes. The spatial layout is planned to establish seamless circulation paths, separating active collaborative desks from quiet focus pods.

4. Daylight Harvesting & Ergonomic Kelvin Scale

Proper lighting temperature (measured in Kelvin) and natural daylight harvesting directly affect focus and wellness. We Demolish interior dividing drywalls to let natural light flow from floor-to-ceiling windows. We combine this with soft, indirect LED fixtures at 3000K to 4000K, creating a warm, focused workspace. Finally, we integrate biophilic features like low-maintenance indoor green plants, introducing organic textures and improving indoor air quality.

5. Regional Material Sourcing

To reduce transport footprints, we source architectural materials from local suppliers in Queensland. We select timber certified by Australian forestry standards, locally manufactured steel columns, and eco-friendly concrete mixes. Sourcing locally supports regional crafts and guarantees material compliance under Brisbane codes.

6. Spatial Circulation & Flow Rate Optimization

A successful space must guide people naturally. We analyze spatial circulation and walk rates to design clear pathways. We place entrance desks, walking corridors, and meeting zones to optimize flow. This prevents layout clutter and creates a spacious office environment. We ensure that fire escape pathways, door swing clearance, and wheelchair access meet QLD standards.
